You must press the Back or Forward button 

BEFORE performing control solution test. 

Hold the Back or Forward button until     

appears in the upper right corner of the 

screen. Verify that     remains displayed on 

the screen. If you do not do this, the control 

solution result will NOT be valid.

          will prompt you to add control solution.

Mix control solution by gently inverting control solution 

bottle several times. Remove the cap from the control 

solution bottle. Place cap on flat surface. Squeeze the 

bottle and discard the first drop. Apply the second drop 

to the top of the cap.
