Creating programs
●Valid content files
File types that can be used as content are as follows:

Scroll messages created in Scroll Message Editor, Conditional content (.dct) for scroll

Audio
WAVE, MP3, AU, AIFF,
WMA (Windows Media Audio – file type playable with Windows Media Player),
MOV (file type playable with QuickTime Player),
MIDI, Conditional content (.dca) for audio
 Audio files cannot be positioned in the layout. They are used as audio or music (background music) that
plays while a program is displayed.
Content files are recognized by their file extensions.
Certain file types require the installation of corresponding software.

 • The JPEG file supports the RGB format but does not support the CMYK format. In addition, JPEG2000
is not supported.
 
• Animation GIF is not supported.
 
• Two or more PowerPoint files cannot be displayed at the same time.
 
• The new file format of PowerPoint 2007 (.pptx) is not supported. Create content in ppt format.
 
• The PowerPoint content does not support the following: 
Execution of macros, execution of programs, display of link objects, display of embedded objects
 
• If too many animations are used in the PowerPoint content, displayed characters may be illegible.
 
• The font used in the content must also be installed on the target PC.
 
• The HTML file and the Web page cannot be enlarged or reduced.
 
• Adjustment of the sound volume supports video and audio. It does not support Flash and PowerPoint.
