Automatic

For journal and receipt printers, at the completion of the Configuration Report, the printer will 

allow  access to the Configuration Mode. Validation only printers will need to be configured 

through the use of Command Codes. To enter the Configuration Mode press the Paper Feed 

Button within 10 seconds. If the button is not pressed within this time limit, the printer will resume 

normal operation. When the printer is in the Configuration Mode each configuration option will 

be printed and the user will have 10 seconds to either change that option or to continue on 

to the next option. Changes are made by pressing the Paper Feed Button. After the user has 

completed the configuration the printer will print out its new configuration and return to normal 

operation. 

The  first  option for each available option is the default  setting. Some options are only available 

for specific Control Languages.
