The resources available for wireless 
communication (making or answering calls 
with a handset, monitoring camera images 
from a computer, etc.) are limited. When 
this feature is turned on, the system will 
limit data communications and reserve 
enough resources so that 1 handset can 
always make or answer outside calls. 
When this feature is turned off, data 
communications will not be limited, but it is 
possible that calls cannot be made or 
answered with a handset when data traffic 
is heavy.

Registering a unit
Registering the handset

The included handset and base unit are 
preregistered. If for some reason the 
handset is not registered to the base unit, 
register the handset.
Important:
L Before registering a compatible 
Panasonic unit to the base unit, we 
recommend you change the PIN (page 
76) so that other Bluetooth devices in 
the area are not accidentally registered 
at the same time.
L If you have already canceled the 
handset registration at the previous 
base unit, perform steps 2 and 3 only.

Base unit:
Press and hold 
{INTERCOM} until it 
starts flashing and a beep sounds.
L After {INTERCOM} starts flashing, 
the rest of the procedure must be 
completed within 2 minutes.

beeps.
L If you have changed the PIN, enter it 
and press 
{OK}, then wait until the 
handset beeps.
