The professional mute 

 
6th: The Carkit extension cable 

is connected between connector 

 

on the car-specific cableset 

and connector 

 on the Carkit adaptor 

. 

 
7th: The carkit is unwrapped & connected. The original speaker and pow-
ersupply cable is not used with this cableset. Connector 

from the carkit 

adaptor 

 is connected to the carkit-powersupply input. Connector 

from 

the carkit adaptor 

is fitted to the speaker output on the carkit.

Needed items: 
A. Mutebox 
B. Car-specific cable 
C. Extension cable 
D. Carkit adaptor. 
E. Carkit. 
Note: The Mutebox 

is always de-

livered with car-specific cable 

 

 
Installation: 
1st: Connect the mutebox 

.  The  end 

marked  “Radio”  is  connected  to  the 
end with the single 8 way connector 

. The other end marked “Speakers” 

is  connected  to  the  6  and  8  way 
connectors 

.

 
2nd:  Locate  &  Uncover  the  amplifier.  The amplifier is located under 
the driver seat. 
 
3rd: Insert the Car-specific cable 

 Disconnect the 12 pin Speaker con-

nector 

and the 6 pin power connector 

 and

  Insert the Car-specific ca-

ble 

 between the disconnected connectors 

E  & F

 and the connectors on 

the amplifier. 
 
4th: Connect the yellow mute wire 

 to pin 1 of the 24 pin  of connec-

tor 

 

    
5th:  Connect  the  blue  ignition  wire 

  to pin 12 of the 24 pin  of con-

nector 

If  no  ignition  is  needed  the  blue  ignition  wire  can  be  con-

nected  to  the  constant  12v  wire  by  using  the  bullet  connectors.  When 
delivered, the blue ignition wire is connected to the blue fly wire with a 
bullet connector.
