NOTE:
The load config command does not alter the IP settings. This
feature enables the user to employ the same configuration databases to
configure several Access Navigators without changing the IP settings or
duplicating IP address on the network.
Purpose:
Downloads a file containing configuration database settings into the Access Navigator
flash memory on each Controller card. The file transfer normally takes only a few
seconds. After downloading the configuration file, a message will appear telling the
operator to reset the Access Navigator in order for the settings to take effect.
NOTE:
To upload the configuration database from the Access Navigator and
save it in file format, see Upload TFTP Config on
Security:
Level 2 (operator)
Syntax:
load tftp config <ipaddr> <"file"> <blocksize>
Field
Description
tftp
Download software via Internet TFTP.
The configuration database file must be located on a TFTP file
server accessible by both the Telnet management terminal and
the Access Navigator. Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP)
allows a file to be sent over a network by specifying the server IP
address and file name or path name. Using an RS-232 or Telnet
management session, the operator sends a load config
command to the Access Navigator, specifying the location of the
TFTP server and configuration file. TFTP server capabilities,
including time-out settings, must match the bandwidth of the
network being used.
config
Configuration database.
ipaddr
IP address where configuration file is to be stored. (This is the IP
address of the TFTP server.) IP address has format
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, where xxx is a number from 0 to 255.
