Using MIDI
MIDI Parameters
If you want to use the GW-8 with an external MIDI sequencer,
for example to create Styles, proceed as follows.

Press [SONG] to put the GW-8 in Song mode.

Press [PERFORM] so it’s lit, then use the VALUE dial to
select the preset Performance “128: Init Performance.”
MFX (p. 42) will apply only to the part that you play manually
on the GW-8 (the Upper Part or Lower Part).
