Play Position Memory Function
• Even if you turn power off or switch the Ignition
Key to OFF during playback or change the source,
playback will continue from the point where
playback stopped when the power is turned ON
again. The play position memory is cancelled
when the magazine is removed or the disc is
changed.
Turning the power on and off
• When connected with a head unit by using an
Ai-NET
• When connected with an Alpine head
unit
When using the DHA-S680 with an Ai-
NET compatible AV head unit or Ai-
NET compatible head unit, read the
section “Changing the system
settings” (page 48) thoroughly and
make the “Ai-NET setting” and “H.U.
CONTROL setting” before using it.
• With this unit connected to an Ai-NET
compatible AV head unit or Ai-NET
compatible head unit, there will be
about a 3 second delay during power-
up from the remote control unit. This is
caused by the systems
communications being carried out by
the various components and is not a
defect.
• When connected with an Ai-NET
compatible AV head unit and Ai-NET
compatible head unit, the power cannot
be turned off from the remote control
unit.  Turn off the DHA-S680 power by
switching the head unit’s source.  For
details, refer to “Operating from the
head unit” (page 40).
Caution
1
Set the head unit’s source to DVD Changer or
CD Changer.
The power turns on.
NOTE
The head unit’s sources vary depending on the head
unit connected, system components and Ai-NET setting
of DHA-S680.

If the DHA-S680 is not connected to an
Ai-NET compatible head unit, read the
section “Changing the system settings”
(page 48) thoroughly and set the “H.U.
CONTROL setting” to OFF before using
it.

Press the POWER button of the remote control
unit.
The power turns on.

To turn the power off, press the POWER button
again.
