Adjusting the volume
Adjust the volume when using with a Digital
Audio Processor (PXA-H510/PXA-H900).

Rotate the rotary encoder clockwise or counter-
clockwise.
Turn clockwise to increase the volume.
Turn counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.
NOTE
If an Ai-NET product (head unit or AV head unit) is
being used with the Digital Audio Processor (PXA-
H510/PXA-H900), or if this equipment is connected
directly to a TV monitor, use each devices’ control to
adjust the volume.
Switching between NTSC and PAL
configuration
Switch the video output configuration to NTSC or
PAL according to the type of television and the
disc recording method.

Press and hold the NTSC/PAL button for at least
5 seconds.
NOTES
• NTSC is the standard and there is no need to change
the setting. The system is set to NTSC at time of
shipment from the factory.
• The image output configuration must be correct.
Otherwise the following message appears and
playback does not start: “VIDEO SIGNAL SYSTEM
IS NOT CORRECT”.
• Using the Number Keys
This describes use of the Number Keys,
particularly the “+10” key.
To input 10: Press the “+10” key once and
then press the “0” key.
To input 16: Press the “+10” key once and
then press the “6” key.
To input 23: Press the “+10” key twice and
then press the “3” key.
* Each time the “+10” key is pressed, the
number increases by 10.

Selecting the disc

Press the DISC DN or DISC UP button to select
the side you want to play.
The DHA-S680 automatically detects the type of
disc (DVD, Video CD, CD) and starts playback.
NOTE
For CDs, if repeat is OFF, there will be an automatic
changeover to the next disc after the disc finishes
playing.
For DVD and video CD, discs will not be switched even
if repeat is OFF.
For further information about repeat switching, see
“Chapter/track/title repeat playback” (on Page 16).

Stopping playback
Press the stop button during playback to stop
playback.  That position is stored in the memory.

the position at which playback is stopped
is stored in the memory, and playback
resumes from that position.
