Perform the following configuration in interface (asynchronous serial, AUX or AM 
interface) view.

The use of this configuration varies from the modem mode of the asynchronous 
interface. If the modem is in auto-answer mode, the user should execute 

 before using the dial function. If not, the user should execute 

. Inconsistency of the configuration and the modem 

status may cause the abnormal acceptance of some modem incoming calls.

Perform the following configuration in interface (asynchronous serial, AUX or AM 
interface) view.

By default, the modem works in non-auto answer mode.

Execute the 

 command in all views for the debugging.

The following examples use modem scripts to manage the modem.
