Configuring NTP multicast client mode
The following configuration is used to specify an interface on the local router to
receive the NTP multicast packets. The local router is run in multicast client mode.
It first listens discreetly to the multicast packets from the server. When the first
multicast packet is received, the local router starts a short client/server process to
exchange messages with the remote server in order to estimate network delay.
Then it enters the multicast client mode to listen discreetly to the multicast packets
and synchronize the local clock according to the coming multicast packets.
