Configuration procedure
For the IP address configuration of the interface, refer to Figure 125.
1 Configure RouterA:
a Enable RIP and apply it on the interface Ethernet2/0/0 of RouterA as well as on
LoopBack0.

[RouterA-rip]network 11.0.0.0
[RouterA-rip]timers update 10 timeout 30
2 Configure RouterB:
a Enable RIP and apply it on the interface Ethernet2/0/0 and Serial1/0/0 of
RouterB.

[RouterB-rip]timers update 10 timeout 30
3 Configure RouterC:
a Enable RIP and apply it on the interface Serial1/0/0 of RouterC.

After the above configuration, executing
display ip routing-table
command
on RouterB and RouterC, you can view the information of route 11.0.0.0/8. Shut
down the interface Ethernet2/0/0 of RouterA, you can view that the route state of
