Perform the following in the IS-IS View.
By default, the router type is Level-1-2.
Generate Default Route
In the IS-IS route domain, the Level-1 router only has the LSDB of the local area,
therefore, it can only generate the routes within the area. However, the Level-2
router contains the LSDB of the Routing Domain. A Level-1 router can only
communicate with another Level-1 router in a different area by sending the
packets to the nearest Level-1-2 router.

The default route generated by this command will only be imported to the router

Configuring IS-IS
Authentication
Password
IS-IS supports Area and Domain authentication.
If area authentication is needed, the area authentication password will be
encapsulated into the Level-1 LSP, CSNP and PSNP packets, in the specified mode.
If additional routers are added to an area and require authentication, the password
and mode must be the same as the existing password and mode.
encapsulated into the Level-1 LSP, CSNP and PSNP packets, in the specified mode.
If additional routers are added to an area and require authentication, the password
and mode must be the same as the existing password and mode.
Similarly, for routing domain authentication, the password will be encapsulated
into the Level-2 LSP, CSNP and PSNP packets in the specified mode. If additional
routers in the backbone layer (Level-2) also need routing domain authentication,
the password and the authentication mode must be identical to the existing
password and mode.
