Using your Rack-Mount Console KVM Switch
Completing a Firmware Update on Multiple KVM Devices
(Daisy-Chained)
1.
Power-off ALL of the KVM devices in the daisy-chain.

Power-on ONE KVM device.

The internal components of the KVM device will be reprogrammed with
the new code (this may take a few minutes).

When the update is complete (approximately two minutes), the KVM
device will play a series of tones, boot up automatically, and display the
Splash Screen. The KVM device is now updated and fully functional.

POWER-OFF the updated KVM device.

Repeat steps 2–5 for each of the KVM devices until all have been
successfully updated.

power-on all of the BANKs of the daisy-chain. The entire daisy-chain
is now updated and fully functional.
