TX Document Archiving
This function sends a copy of the documents that are sent from this machine to
another destination (fax number, e-mail/I-fax address, and file server) for archiving. 
This feature allows you to make sure that delayed transmission worked properly,
and allows for notification of faxes sent from the machine while you are home or at 
another work site.
Set the destination to use for TX Document Archiving in < FW W/OUT CNDITION > 
in <SYSTEM SETTINGS>. (See "When Forwarding Destinations Do Not Match the 
Forwarding Conditions,
" on p. 5-15.)
If you are usng the LASER CLASS 830, you can specfy an I-Fax machne, Personal Computer, and FTP server 
as the destnatons.
If an I-FAX machne s set as the destnaton for TX Document Archvng, f the resoluton of the orgnal 
document sent s 150 x 150 dp, ths resoluton s changed to 200 x 200 dp.
Before You Set Up the TX Document Archiving
Note these mportant ponts before you set up the TX Document Archvng.
The followng types of documents are supported by TX Document Archvng:
LASER CLASS 810: Fax
LASER CLASS 830: Fax, I-fax
The sendng method, sendng speed, and ECM (Error Correcton Mode) settngs specfed 
for the destnaton set n <FW W/OUT CNDITION> n <SYSTEM SETTINGS>, also apply 
when sendng for TX Document Archvng.
TX Document Archvng only works for memory sendng and black-and-whte sendng 
(ncludng Relay Broadcastng).
TX Document Archvng does not support the followng sendng methods: Drect 
sendng and Transferrng.
Whle the TX Document Archvng feature s enabled, the Drect TX LED s off and you 
cannot use Drect sendng. If Drect sendng s requred, the document must be sent 
manually.
When the TX Document Archvng functon s set to <ON>, faxes cannot be sent from a 
computer. 
Jobs that could not be sent are recorded on the actvty report prnted every 40 transmssons. (If TX 
Document Archvng s set to <ON>, the actvty report s set to automatcally be prnted every 40 
transmssons.)
If the orgnal I-FAX transmsson s not sent at a resoluton supported by faxes (150 x 150 dp, 300 x 300 dp, 
or 600 x 600 dp), the resoluton s changed to 200 x 200 dp f a fax machne s set as the destnaton for TX 
Document Archvng.
