From the Maintenance heading of the main menu, select Backup to view the menu seen below.

Click Backup to save a copy of the current settings.

Store the

.cfg

 file on a computer on your network.

Log in to the firewall at its default LAN address of 

 with its default user 

name of 

, default password of 

, or using whatever password and LAN address 

you have chosen for the firewall.

From the Maintenance heading of the main menu, select the Settings Backup menu as seen in

Enter the full path to the file on your network or click the Browse button to browse to the file.

When you have located the 

.cfg

 file, click the Restore button to upload the file to the firewall.

The firewall will then reboot automatically.

It is sometimes desirable to restore the firewall to the factory default settings. This can be done by 
using the Erase function.
