Select System > Settings > Services > SSH.

Click the Download SSH key file button.
A window opens in your browser for selecting and downloading a file.

Follow your browser s procedure to save the file.

Click the Apply button or the Cancel button to close the SSH Settings window.
Configure a User Account to Use SSH
Before a user can use SSH, for example for remote backups, you must configure the user account for SSH.
To add SSH usage to a user account:
1.
Log in to your ReadyNAS.
2.
Select Accounts > Users.
The page updates and shows the list of users.
3.
From the list of users, select the user account.
4.
Click the Settings button in the pop-up menu.
