Deleting Multiple Profiles Using the Import Process
You can delete user profiles in a batch as follows:
1.

Create an import file with two fields: uid (user ID) and prfnum (profile
number) Under these two fields, list the user IDs and profile numbers of
the profiles you want to delete.
Uid,prfnum
ABell,1234
JSmith,5678
2.

Open the Register Book, and select the System tab.
3.

From the left side of the System tab, click Import User Profiles.
4.

On the right side of the System tab, set the Action to Perform parameter
to Delete Profiles From System.
5.

Click in the value area of the Data File to Use parameter. An input box
appears.
6.

Type in the filename of the import file or use the Browse button to locate
the file.
7.

Use the Send Log Info To parameter to set the destination for the error
information. If you are importing a large number of records, you should
save the error information to a file. Use the Log File Name parameter to
specify a name for this error file.
8.

Set the error threshold in the Error Threshold parameter. This value
specifies the number of errors that MeetingTime allows before aborting
the import process. Do not set this number too high, because large
numbers of errors may be an indication there is a problem with the
import file itself.
9.

Select OK.
10.

Click Execute to begin the import and update the existing user records.
