Cisco MeetingServer 5.1 System Manager’s Guide

                  183

Cisco Systems

March 2003

Notes:

If the target server is a network server rather than a
standalone server (in the case of PCI systems), the system
manager has access to four additional fields: Preferred
server, Force on preferred server, Preferred site, and Force
on preferred site.

Recurring meetings are imported as separate, one-time
meetings rather than chains of meetings. Continuous
meetings are imported as such with the import meeting date
as the start date.

3.

Click in the value area of the Data File to Use parameter and click
Browse. The Open window opens. Select your generated report file and
click OK.
4.

Click in the value area of the Override w/Sched. ID? parameter.

Yes. The user identified in the “scheduler user ID” field schedules
all the meetings in the import file.

No. The system schedules the meetings using the scheduler that
originally scheduled the meeting. If the scheduler does not exist for
any particular meeting, the user identified in the “scheduler user ID”
field schedules the meeting.
5.

Click in the value area of the Send Log Info To parameter and select
either Screen or File.
6.

Click in the value area of the Log File Name parameter and select
Browse. Type in the log file name and click OK.
7.

Specify how many errors you are expecting in the Error Threshold field.

Note: If the number of errors encountered exceeds the number
you indicate in the Error Threshold field, MeetingPlace stops
importing meetings.
8.

Click Execute to complete importing meetings. The target server
generates meetings and disperses e-mail notifications to meeting
organizers who are affected by the import.
These notifications are standard meeting notifications containing the
name of the meeting organizer, the meeting ID, and the phone number of
the target server so that participants can access their meeting.
