6.  Now the system is ready to take a snapshot on the storage layer. Log in to the MapR MCS GUI and select 

Volumes in the navigation pane. Select all data volumes of the SAP HANA system that just has been prepared 

for a storage snapshot. Click Volume Actions and choose Snapshot <n> Volumes. 

 

 

 

7.  As the snapshot name, a good practice is to use the same name as in SAP HANA. The snapshot name will 

also be the name of the read-only snapshot directory in which the content of the snapshot can be found.
