8.  Verify the creation of the storage snapshot by browsing to Snapshots in the navigation pane. 

  

9.  After a storage snapshot is successful, you need to confirm it in SAP HANA Studio. The time between taking a 

snapshot and confirming a snapshot should be as short as possible. Otherwise, the snapshot delta information 

becomes very large and additional space is allocated. Right-click the system in which a storage snapshot 

should be confirmed. Choose Backup and Recovery > Manage Storage Snapshot. 

10.  If the storage snapshot on the MapR Converged Data Platform was not successful, or if you want to abort the 

creation of the snapshot, select Abandon. 

11.  If the storage snapshot on the MapR Converged Data Platform was successful, select Confirm.
