To create a new user account, specify a user name and a full name, and then assign the user 
to a group. Each group provides a different level of default permissions. Table 22-2 lists th
groups you can assign. 
After assigning the user to a group, you must specify a password for the new account. 
Passwords are encrypted when they are reported using the 
showconfig
 CLI command.
Note — If you have lost the admin user password, contact your support provider.
Adding Local Users
To add a local user:
1. On the System Administration > Users page, click Add User
The Add Local User page is displayed.

2. Enter a name for the user. Some words are reserved, such as “operator” and “root”.
3. Enter a full name for the user.

Group
Description
Administrator
The administrators group allows full access to all system configuration 
settings. However, the 
upgradecheck
 and 
upgradeinstall
 
commands can be issued only from the system defined “admin” account. 
Operator
The operators group restricts users from creating, editing, or removing user 
accounts. The operators group also restricts the use of the following 
commands:
resetconfig
 
upgradecheck
 
• upgradeinstall
systemsetup
 or running the System Setup Wizard
Guest
The guests group users can only view system status information.
