SELECT NIC MODE (OPTIONAL)
By default, the C220 M4 server NIC mode is configured to be Shared LOM Extended. This NIC
mode allows any LOM port or adapter card port to be used to access the Cisco Integrated
Management Controller (CIMC). The Cisco VIC card must be installed in a slot with NCSI support.

To change the default NIC mode to Dedicated, select the UCSC-DLOM-01 PID shown in

. In this mode, you can assign an IP address to the CIMC using DHCP and from there you
can fully automate your deployment.
