This section shows how the supported adapter card configurations for each one of the two Blade Modules
connecting to the Fabric Extender modules in the 5108 blade server chassis. Recall that the B460 M4 E7 v3
consists of two cross-connected Scalable M4 Blade Modules.

There are three configurable adapter slots on each one of the two Blade Modules for B460 M4 E7 v3. For
each Blade Module, one slot supports only the VIC 1340/1240 adapter, and two additional slots can
accommodate Cisco as well as the Storage Accelerator adapters.
