Automated Updates
CAD can be configured during installation so that every time you start Desktop
Administrator, it checks to see if there is an updated version available. If there is, it
automatically runs the update process.

NOTE: For automated updates to function correctly, Internet Explorer must
be configured so that it checks for newer versions of stored pages. In Internet
Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options and select the General tab. In
the Temporary Internet Files section, click Settings and ensure that the
“Every visit to the page” option is selected.

When this happens, you will see a dialog box notifying you that your copy of Desktop
Administrator will be updated (see

Click OK and then follow the instructions in the series of dialog boxes that follows.
When the update is finished, you will see a final dialog box telling you that your
update is complete (see

). When you click OK, restart Desktop
