the latest software release supported by your vendor for all Cisco MDS 9000 Family products.

The Cisco MDS NX-OS software is designed for mission-critical high-availability environments. To 
realize the benefits of nondisruptive upgrades on the Cisco MDS 9700 Directors, Cisco MDS 9500 
Directors, we highly recommend that you install dual supervisor modules.

features need to be disabled.
