Steps to Install
After registration, the base software license is sent to the email address that you provide during registration.

You have the option to install a Cisco Security Manager base license at installation time or after installation,
when the application is running. Incremental device count license files are installed only after the application
has been installed.

Complete these steps:
Save the attached license file (.lic) from the email to your file system.

Copy the saved license file to a known location on the Cisco Security Manager server file system.

Run the Cisco Security Manager server installation.

At the Licensing Information panel of the installation wizard, select the License File Location radio
button and click Browse....

click Open.
