Deleting a Custom User Role
When a custom role is deleted, users become unassigned and do not have access to the appliance. If you
delete a custom user role that is assigned to one or more users, you do not receive a warning message.

Procedure
Step 1
Go to the System Administration > User Roles page.
Step 2
Click the trash can icon corresponding to the user role you want to delete in the Custom User Roles for
Delegated Administration list.

Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete in the warning dialog that appears.

Commit your changes.

Changing Your Password
Administrative users can change their own passwords via the Options > Change Password link at the top
of the GUI.

As soon as you submit a new password, you are logged out and taken to the log in screen.
In the CLI, use the
password
or
passwd
command to change your password. If you forget the password
for the admin user account, contact your customer support provider to reset the password.
The
password
command requires you to enter the old password for security.
Note
Changes to the password take effect immediately and do not require you commit the change.
