Powering the Access Point
The AP can be powered using:
44 to 57 VDC power via the VDC port, using Cisco Power Adapter AC/DC AIR-PWR-D=.
Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) from the Ethernet cable, from an external power source such as the 
Cisco Power Injector AIR-PWRINJ5= or AIR-PWRINJ6=.
Any 802.3at (25.5 W) or 802.3af (15.4 W) Ethernet switch.
The PoE-Out port (labeled PSE) provides 802.3af power when the AP is powered by Cisco local 
power supply (AIR-PWR-D=), ~6.5W power when the AP is powered by 802.3at power, and no 
power output when the AP is powered by 802.3af power.
If the AP is mounted on a horizontal flat surface, such as on a table, using the cradle mount kit, then 
you can route the DC power cord as shown in 
Figure 15
