3  Install the crowbar surge protector in the surge protector slot. Refer to the 

illustration below. 

 

Note: 

 

Make sure that all pins on the crowbar surge protector bottom align with the 
pin holes in the surge protector slot, allowing the surge protector to install 
flat against the line extender module.
