The VoIP Monitor window (Figure 2-5) enables you to:

set a default VoIP Monitor server
■
configure devices to be monitored by specific VoIP Monitor servers
■
enable desktop monitoring

Desktop Monitoring
With desktop monitoring enabled, software on the agent desktop handles
recording and monitoring requests for that agent. This is possible only on
desktops that are physically connected to the network through a hard IP phone
(Cisco models 7910, 7940, and 7960) or through a media terminated soft
phone.
