5.2.1 Network Configuration
1) Static IP
When Netcam network configuration is Static IP (Public IP, Private IP), you may set the
Static IP Address.
If you want to set Static IP, you must set IP Address, NetMask, Gateway, DNS 1, DNS 2,
etc. Generally, the network administrator administers these items. You need to contact the
network administrator and allocate them accordingly.
2) DHCP IP
Choose it when Netcam network configuration is a Dynamic IP.
In DHCP, the IP Address allocation process occurs automatically. Therefore, IP Address
may change continuously. You may use it in parallel with DDNS, or use Network Status
Notification to enter to the Address allocated to the equipment.
5.2.2 PPPoE (ADSL)
5.2.3 Network Ports Configuration
Choose it when Netcam network configuration is ADSL.
In PPPoE (ADSL), the IP Address allocation process occurs automatically like in DHCP.
Therefore, IP Address may change continuously. You may use it in parallel with DDNS, or
use Network Status Notification to enter to the Address allocated to the equipment. In
addition, since the Authentication process is included, you need to setup User ID, User
Password, and Confirm Password. These can be designated or allocated when you
subscribe the service from your ISP.
It’s Daemon Port Number of the HTTP (Hyper Text Transmission Protocol) Server.
The default standard value is 80.
