ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS2 

The Web Content palette displays the stacking order of image maps. The image map on the top of your stack takes 
precedence, so it’s helpful to be able to arrange them. 

To change the stacking order, do one of the following: 

Select  one or more image  map areas  you want to  arrange. You  can select a combination of tool-based image  map  
areas and layer-based image map areas. Then, with the Image Map Select tool active, click a stacking order option 
in the options bar. Alternatively, choose a stacking order command from the Image Map palette menu. 

Drag an image map up or down in the Web Content palette. 

To align image maps, select a number of image maps with the Image Map Select tool. Either right-click (Windows) 

or Control-click (Mac OS) with the cursor in one of the image maps. This brings up the context menu for image 
maps. Select an Align option: Top Edges, Vertical Centers, Bottom Edges, Left Edges, Horizontal Centers, Right 
Edges. 

You can align and distribute tool-based image map areas to the top, bottom, left, right, and middle. 

Select the tool-based image map areas you want to align or distribute. 

With the Image Map Select tool active, select an alignment option in the options bar. 

With the Image Map Select tool active, select a distribution option in the options bar.
