: During image capture, some frames are 

dropped or the audio stops.

: If the DMA is not set in the PC hard disk, 

recording might fail. DMA settings can be 
performed by opening the hard disk properties 
in Windows system properties and clicking on 
the [Settings] tab.

: Special effects are not applied.

: You aligned the still picture or the input tape 

track image on the edit track, but you cannot 
apply special effects like video effects or 
transition effects. Regarding the still picture, 
start the titler and save it as an AVI file; now 
you'll be able to apply the effects. Regarding the 
input tape track, the special effects will be 
applied only after downloading it to the PC and 
arranging it.

: How can I insert the special effect in a part of a 

long videoclip?

: The arranged videoclip may be split. After 

splitting it, you can add special effects to the 
desired section only.
To split the videoclip into 2 sections move the 
current bar (red line) to the position where you 
wish to split the videoclip arranged on the edit 
track, then click on the [Divide] button. (See the 
PDF manual)

: The title doesn't animated even though the 

motion has been set with the titler.

: After setting the motion, to animate the title 

select [Save as Video] and convert it to an AVI 
file. To check the result play the AVI file with 

Windows

®

 Media Player.

: How can I print the captured image?

: With MotionDV STUDIO, you cannot print the 

captured image; you can print the labels of the 
DV tape or of the VHS tape. You can also print 
the image information as Time Sheet. (See the 
PDF manual)

: You cannot apply 3D motions to pictures using 

the [Motion settings] option of the titler.

: 3D settings are only available for text and 3D 

text. In pictures and in the subsidiary screen of 
the AVI format, you can set the vertical and 
horizontal motion, as well as the parabolic and
