To search for a name by initial
1. MPHONEBOOKN
2. Press MJN or MKN to initiate the phonebook.
3. Press the dial key (M0N to M9N) which contains the

character you are searching for (page 53).
R Press the same dial key repeatedly to display the

first item corresponding to each letter located on
that dial key.

R If there is no item corresponding to the letter you

selected, press another dial key.

4. Press MJN or MKN repeatedly to scroll through the

phonebook if necessary.

Base unit dial keys M1N to M9N can each be used as a one
touch dial key, allowing you to dial a number from the
base unit’s phonebook by simply pressing a dial key.

To assign an item to a one touch dial key
1. MPHONEBOOKN
2. Press MJN or MKN repeatedly to display the desired

item. A MMENUN A M0N

3. Press MJN or MKN repeatedly to select a desired dial

key.
R When the dial key is already used as a one touch

dial key,   is displayed next to the dial key
number. If you select this dial key, you can
overwrite the previous assignment.

4. MSETN A MSETN

R To program other items, repeat steps 2 to 4.

5. MSTOPN

To make a call using a one touch dial key
1. Press and hold the desired one touch dial key (M1N to

M9N).
R You can view other one touch dial assignments

by pressing MJN or MKN.

Lift the handset or press MSP-PHONEN.
