Use Shortscuts for quick access to applications. 

-- Navigate to a Home screen, then touch and hold on the screen to display the add to Home screen menu. Or press Menu key/tap 

 on the 

home screen, then tap Add to pop up the Add window. 

-- Tap Shortcuts, then tap a selection, then follow the prompts to add it to the Home screen: Applicaions, Bookmark, contact, Music playlist,

-- Navigate to a Home screen   

-- Tap Applications 

-- Touch and hold an application icon. The shortcut icon is automatically placed on the selected Home screen.

-- Touch and hold the Shortcut icon until Application changes into the

 

trash bin

, then drag the icon into the trash bin, while both the icon and 

the trash bin turns into red

, after that you can release to remove the widget from the home screen. 

 

Widgets are self-contained application that you can place on the Home screen to enter your favorite features.
