3 Quick Start Guide
INSTALLATION
•
Insert the batteries in your fall detectors and set the rigid angled tube in place(see §5.1)

Install your fall detector at the appropriate location on your pool, making sure that he tube immersion
depth is correct: 8.5 in (+/- 1 in). Cut the rigid tube down to the right length if necessary. (see §5.2)

Switch your detector to ARMED mode (long beep – green indicator light flashing) by moving a magnet
over the swimmer symbol.

Carry out a fall test: from the top of the coping, drop a 2.5 US gallon jerry can filled so as to weigh 18
lbs, as far away from your detector as possible. The siren should go off in less than 20 seconds. (see
§5.3)

Turn the siren off by moving a magnet over the swimmer symbol. The red indicator light flashes.

Fasten Swim Alert

on the edge of your pool using the attachment kit supplied.

Wait for your device to restart automatically (long beep – green indicator light flashing).
•
Your device is now operational (see §5.4)
