If a

is used in the network as a DHCP server to assign IP addresses, reserve part of

the IP address range for devices within the network for statically assigned IP addresses in the

network.

When the

receives a request from an IP address from a device in the network, it

compares the hardware address to the MAC addresses saved in the reserved IP addresses list.

If a match exists, the

assigns the requesting device the saved IP

addresses.

If a match is NOT found, the

assigns the requesting device an IP address

from the range set in the LAN setup page.

1. Connect to the
