RANGE Function, Manual Measurement Range Selection
The RANGE function enables manual measuring range selection in some measuring voltages with an
automatic measuring range selection (AUTO). In threshold areas, the measuring range should be set
firmly to prevent undesired switching.
Press the “RANGE” button to activate this function. “AUTO” goes out in the display, and “MANUAL”
appears.

the autorange function is available for his measuring range).

MAX/MIN Function
The MAX/MIN function enables recording and displaying the maximum and
minimum values during measuring. When then “MAX/MIN” function is activa-
ted, the max or min value can be recorded, as selected. The current measured
value continues to be displayed in the small upper display. The figure shows
an example for the DC voltage measuring area.
By pressing the “MAX/MIN” button, the current measuring range is set (auto-
range is deactivated). The display shows the inverse symbol “MINMAX” and
“MANUAL”. The currently measured value will be displayed.
