8. Display specifications
The display has special features, which are described in more detail below.
Consumption display:
For a better visualization of the current electricity consumption in the home, the display has a consumption indicator
similar to a speedometer. This gives the customer an understanding of what's happening in his home.
• Up to 1,25 kW in 50 W steps
• Up to 4,25 kW in 500 W steps
• Up to 13,0 kW in 2500 W steps
• Up to 22,0 kW in 4000 W steps
Select a SmartPlug with the right button and see its power consumption
displayed in the speedometer.
The numbers in the middle of the Speedometer display the exact value. By
the middle button he consumption value can be automatically converted
into different units.
Budget display:
To warn customers in advance of high power consumption, the budget display was developed. It consists of two
components.
The outer gauge presents the actual situation. At midnight it is charged with a
set budget and counts down throughout the day according to the consumption.
The inner gauge is a forecast indicating where you will probably end up at the
end of the day, if the power consumption remains in the same behavior.
The forecast display has learning routines. Therefore, the prognosis will be
better with every day to make better predictions (constant consumption behavior
assumed).
In the lower section of both gauges is a gap. This is the base point, indicating the
credit has been used up. Beyond them is the negative section indicating a
supplementary payment.
Please note that during the dark winter months more power is consumed than in the bright summer
months. Therefore, some supplementary payments in the winter months may be offset by lower
consumption in the summer time.
Once the forecast passes the base point of, the tick in the middle indicating credit turns to a tick for supplementary
payment.
