9. Display and transmitter setup
The display is described in a separate manual. This section covers the setup and configuration of the display and
the transmitter. For these steps no expert is required.
a) Step 1: Display setup
• The included power supply unit has adapters for different countries.
Please select the correct adapter.
• The socket for the power supply cable can be found lateral at the bottom
of the display housing. The display should start then immediately with the
configuration mode.
• The buttons on the screen have the following functions during configuration:
„“ = Left: Counting up the selected figure
„O“ = Middle: Next menu item (no backward)
„“ = Right: Counting down the selected figure
b) Step 2: Basic Configuration
The following configurations must be performed after each voltage loss. (For example, after changing the power
supply to another socket)
• Setting the time
- Hours and minutes are set in one
- By use of the buttons „“ or „“ only the minutes are changing.
The hours change only when turning over / below a full hour.
- After pressing and holding the button for a few seconds, the count rate increases.
• Setting the date: Year, month, day
With the next press of the middle button the display changes to the normal mode.
c) Step 3: Transmitter
• Open the unit by pressing the plastic tab on the back of the
Transmitter and pulling the outer cover away from the bottom.
• Remove the battery tab from the Transmitter.
• The red light will flash to show that the batteries are working.
After a few seconds, the will light on the Display to
show that it is communicating with the Transmitter.
If the red LED does not flash, please check the battery contacts. You may hve to change the batteries.
If the connection between the display and transmitter was not established after a few minutes (transmitter
icon on the display does not stop flashing), you have to connect (pair) display and transmitter manually.
