PREPARATIonS FoR USE
What water to use
The appliance works with normal tap water In
case of very hard water (hardness above 27°F)
we suggest using demineralised water diluted
with 50% tap water.
Never use demineralised water on its own.
Never use chemical substances or detergents
(e.g. perfumed water, essences, descaling solu-
tion, etc).
Important!
Never use other types of water, chemical sub-
stances or detergents (e.g. perfumed water, es-
sences, water softener, etc).
Filling the tank
Danger!
Make sure the cable is unplugged from the
mains socket.
• Open the door of the water tank and fill. Ne-
ver exceed the MAX level marked on the tank
(0.7 l).
• Plug the appliance into a mains socket.
Please note:
The first time you use the appliance, the steam
generator is empty.
When filling the steam generator for the first
time, the heating up time will be longer as the
air must be eliminated from the steam generator
and replaced by the water.
During filling/heating it is normal for the pump
to make a noise.
The appliance will also run out of water much
more quickly than with subsequent fills.
