Operating Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this 
manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
TOOL SET UP
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: 
Turn the Power Switch of the tool to its “OFF” position, remove the key, and unplug the tool 
from its electrical outlet before assembling or making any adjustments to the tool.
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY: 
DO NOT OPERATE WITH ANY GUARD DISABLED, DAMAGED, OR REMOVED.
Installing/Changing Blade
1.  Remove the Bolts (47) from the Blade 
Guard (41).  See Figure 10.

2.  Carefully lift up and move the Blade Guard away 
from the catch on the top end of the Motor Support 
Bracket (25) to expose the Saw Blade, if installed.

3.  Hold the end of the Motor Spindle firmly with 
a wrench and with a second wrench unscrew 
and remove the Spindle Nut (39) by turning it 
clockwise.  Remove the Outer Flange (38) and 
remove old Saw Blade, if installed.  Do not remove 
the Inner Flange (32).  See Figures 11 and 12.

WARNING!  TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY:   
Only use a continuous rim, wet cutting, 7" diamond 
saw blade with a 5/8" round arbor hole and 
rated to at least 3550 RPM on this tool. 
4.  Install a new Saw Blade (sold separately).  
Make sure the directional “ARROW” depicted 
on the side of the Saw Blade points in the 
same direction as that of the Blade Guard.
5.  Reattach the Outer Flange and Spindle 
Nut.  Hold the end of the Motor Spindle firmly 
with a wrench and with a second wrench 
tighten Spindle Nut securely by turning it 
counterclockwise until snug.  Do not overtighten.

6.  Carefully lower Blade Guard back into 
its original position.  Replace the Bolts 
to secure Blade Guard in place.
