Procedures
To view offers to lend you eBooks:

On the Home menu, tap
the daily
.

View the notifications. Among them, you might see an offer to lend you an eBook.
To accept a lending offer from The Daily:

On the Home menu, tap
the daily
.

In The Daily, navigate to the lending offer in the section FROM A FRIEND and tap Select.

Tap
Yes, Borrow this
. Your
NOOK
displays a pop-up message that tells you the eBook has been
delivered to your online digital library and downloaded to your
NOOK
.
To accept a lending offer from your library:

On the Home menu, tap
my library
.

If you are viewing My Documents, tap
Go to My B&N Library
.

Navigate to the eBook. It will have
next to it. Tap Select.

Tap
Yes, Borrow this
.

Your
NOOK
downloads the eBook. After it finishes, tap
Read
.
To decline a lending offer:

In The Daily, navigate to the lending offer and tap Select.

Tap
No, Thank You
.
To read a borrowed eBook:
You read a borrowed eBook just as you read any other eBook. To resume reading, tap
reading now
on the Home menu. To pick something to read in your library:

On the Home menu, choose
my library
.

If you are viewing My Documents, tap
Go to My B&N Library
.

Navigate to what you want to read. Details about choosing something to read are in “Organizing
Your Library” on page 95.

Tap Select. If the item has already been downloaded, it opens in the Reader. If it has not been
downloaded, tap
