1F82-261, -2XX / 1F89-211, -2XX TERMINAL CROSS-REFERENCE
TECH NOTES:
The shaded row above indicates the terminals available on the 1F82 and 1F89. The terminals below the shaded row are corresponding terminals used by various manufacturers on typical systems. If
there is any question about the identification or function of any terminal encountered during installation contact the manufacturer of the equipment before proceeding.
The 1F82-261, -2XX and 1F89-211, -2XX are designed for use on typical heat-pump systems with two stages of heat and one stage of cooling. They require 24 volts hot to the “R” terminal and 24 volts
neutral to the “C” terminal. Heat and Cool will not work without 24 volts applied to “R” and “C”.
Be sure the O/B switch is in the correct position for the heat-pump the thermostat is being installed on. If the system requires both an “O” and a “B” signal from the thermostat use a 1F92 or 1F94 model.
