Phases A to F are Vehicle phases of Type 0 appearance and termination.
Phase G is a Green Arrow of Type 2 appearance, terminating when E gains ROW
Phase H is a Pedestrian phase of Type 1 appearance.
 
3.3.4.1 LMU Commissioning 
Note:  RED LAMP MONITORING is not approved for use on the free-standing 
OTU by the Department of Transport and should not be used. 
 
Once the LMU has been installed in the controller, the commissioning steps are as 
detailed below: 
 
Enter the LMU configuration commands, if these have not already been loaded in 
(one option is to enter the configuration commands at the depot, prior to 
installation) 
 
Reset the lamp monitor and enable lamp monitoring (KLR and KLE) 
 
With the junction signals on, check that the voltage and current readings are as 
expected on each input (KAC) 
 
Check that the mains states indicate on/off in line with the junction red, green and 
wait indicator displays (KDI) 
 
Check that all lamps are working, including wait indicators 
 
Allow the LMU to learn the lamps and check that learning is complete (KLS)
