Preparation
Empty the drip tray and pla-
ce it back.
Remove the Pannarello and
the Intenza+ waterfi lter (as
applicable).
Empty the water tank and
poor the entire Saeco desca-
ling solution in it.
Fill it up to the MAX level
with fresh water and put it
back in the machine.

Use the Saeco descaling solution only. Its formula has been designed to ensure better machine performance. You can
purchase separately the descaling solution.
Please refer to the maintenance products page in this quick instruction guide for further details.
Warning:
Never drink the descaling solution or any products dispensed until the cycle has been carried out to the end.
Never use vinegar as a descaling solution.
Warning:
Once started you need to complete the descaling cycle till the very end. During the process, you can-
not turn the machine off through the power button. If you have unplugged the power cord to stop, you need
to plug it back in, turn the machine on and redo the descaling process from step 9.

Cuando el piloto luminoso rojo empieza a parpadear muy rápidamente y el piloto luminoso verde está encendido,
es necesario iniciar la descalcifi cación de la máquina.
En caso de no llevar a cabo dicha operación, la máquina dejará de funcionar correctamente, cuya repa-
ración NO está cubierta por la garantía.
Utilizar exclusivamente la solución descalcifi cante Saeco específi camente formulada para optimizar las prestaciones
de la máquina. La solución descalcifi cante se vende por separado. Para más detalles, consultar la página relativa a los
productos para el mantenimiento en las presentes instrucciones de uso.
Atención:
no beber la solución descalcifi cante ni los productos suministrados hasta que el ciclo se haya completado. No
utilizar bajo ningún concepto vinagre como producto descalcifi cante.
Atención:
una vez iniciado el proceso de descalcifi cación, es necesario completarlo. Durante el proceso no
es posible apagar la máquina a través del interruptor general.
Si se desconecta el cable de alimentación, es necesario volver a conectarlo, encender la máquina y repe-
tir el proceso de descalcifi cación desde el punto 9.
