Clock
Setting the Clock
The cooktop must be switched on.
1.
Touch the 
õ
 symbol. The settings menu is displayed.
2.
Touch the Clock symbol 
M
. The clock format and the 
time set are shown in the display.
3.
Select the desired clock format. Set the clock by 
selecting minutes or hours, and sliding up or down.
4.
Touch ENTER. The clock is set.
Clean Lock
If you wipe over the display while the cooktop is switched 
on, settings may be altered. To prevent this from 
happening, your cooktop provides Clean Lock function.
To switch on: touch the lock symbol 
ó
. In the lock 
screen, touch Clean Lock symbol 
í
. The display is 
locked for 20 seconds. The remaining duration appears 
in the display. You can now wipe over the display without 
altering any settings.
Switching off: In order to switch off the display lock 
before the time elapses, touch the Unlock symbol 
ô
 and 
then the “CONTINUE” display area.
Note:  The main switch is excluded from the display lock. 
You can switch off the cooktop at any time.
Panel Lock
You can use the Panel Lock to prevent children from 
changing settings on the cooktop.
Note:  If a cooking position is switched on, the Panel 
Lock is not available.
Switching the Panel Lock on and off
The cooktop must be switched on.
To switch on: touch the lock symbol 
ó
, in the lock 
screen, touch Panel Lock symbol 
ó
. The cooktop is 
locked.
To switch off: touch the Unlock symbol 
ô
 and then the 
CONTINUE” display area. The cooktop is unlocked.
Note:  There are different settings available for the child 
lock (automatic, manual, off). To find out how to change 
the settings, see section Settings.
Timer
With the Timer, you can set a time up to 9 hours, 59 
minutes and 59 seconds. It runs independently from the 
heating functions of the cooktop.
This function does not automatically switch off a cooking 
position.
Setting the Timer
1.
Touch the 
ñ
 symbol. 0 : 00 : 00 appears in the display.
2.
Slide your finger up or down and set the desired 
amount of time in minutes.
3.
Select hours and seconds. Slide your finger up or 
down and set the desired amount of time.
