of the surrounding finished floor, for ease of installation and 

removal of unit

Locate the freezer in the coolest part of the room, out of 

direct sunlight and away from heating ducts or registers.

Do not place the freezer next to heat-producing appliances 

such as a range, oven or dishwasher. If this is not possible, 

a section of cabinetry or an added layer of insulation be-

tween the two (2) appliances will help the  freezer operate 

more efficiently.

Do NOT install the freezer where the temperature will drop 

below 60 degrees F (15 degrees C) or rise above 110 de-

grees F (43 degrees C). The compressor will NOT be able 

to maintain proper temperatures.
