Test Run

Set the temperature control knob to OFF and then plug the AC cord into an
electrical outlet of 115 volts, 60Hz. The motor should not run.

Set the knob to MAX and let the refrigerator operate for 20 minutes. The
freezer compartment should get slightly frosted and the motor should run
smoothly with a soft hum.

Then rotate the knob counter-clockwise toward MIN. Before the pointer of the
knob reaches MIN, the motor should turn off.
